In a Nutshell: This rough 'n' tough surfer was all out to give Johnny and soon Ryan a hard time. Newports newest bad boy gets into several fights as well as hooking with Johnny's then-girlfriend Casey. Later on he lures Marissa into a relationship, with heavy negative associations. As Marissa comes to her senses, her ex-communcation with Kevin provokes him to drunkenly speed after Marissa the night she leaves Newport and subsequently runs her ar off the road, killing her. Upon Ryan and Julie's revenge, he is eventually found and locked away.
